Where stories spark creativity and readers grow.
What’s the Word? READ! (WTWR) is an artist-led literacy adventure that brings books to life through art, storytelling and creative exploration. Created by artist, author and arts educator Annie Ruth, the program invites children to discover stories that spark their curiosity, reflect their experiences and introduce them to new possibilities.
With Little Mike and the WTWR Crew leading the way, children build confidence as readers, express their ideas and connect with one another. Through school assemblies, hands-on activities and shared reading experiences, WTWR brings schools, families and community partners together to help children develop a lasting love of reading. (You can book WTWR performances through the Cincinnati Arts Association's Artist on Tour Program) or go to our Contact page to reach out directly to A Ruth Creations.
